The Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Mujeeb Ali Al-Saidi, visited students from the Faculty of Medicine (General Medicine and Surgery – first level), the Faculty of Laboratory Medicine (third level), and the Faculty of Pharmacy (third level) while they were presenting their scientific seminars as part of their academic activities.
During the visit, the Dean emphasized the importance of organizing such scientific seminars due to their significant role in developing students’ research skills, enhancing their communication abilities, and fostering constructive scientific criticism. He also highlighted their role in promoting teamwork and building self-confidence—both of which are key learning outcomes. He noted that these activities serve as clear evidence of students’ excellence and their engagement with the requirements of the educational process.
The Dean expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Rector of the University , Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Matari, for his unlimited support and continuous efforts to create academic, intellectual, and skill-based momentum through improving both curricular and extracurricular activities, thereby enhancing the quality of educational outcomes. He also extended his gratitude to the deans of the faculties, quality coordinators, and colleagues who participated in discussing and evaluating the students’ work. He congratulated the students on this academic and intellectual engagement and wished them continued excellence and creativity.
A number of specialized academicians participated in evaluating the seminars, including Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Hazmi, Dean of the Faculty of Laboratory Medicine; Prof. Dr. Jameel Obaid; Prof. Dr. Abdulhakim Al-Sabban, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. Raghad Al-Matari; Dr. Majed Al-Mazjaji; Dr. Ammar Al-Ajmi; Dr. Ahmed Shujaa Al-Deen; and Mr. Fouad Shaane. The seminar was also attended by Ms. Ne’mah Al-Sabri (Center Secretary), Ms. Noha, Ms. Zahra Al-Mutawakil, Ms. Khatam Asham, and Ms. Amal Al-Hetar.
