The development of education in all its forms and levels, including university education, is a basic condition for achieving human development, and an entry point for economic and social development. The establishment of Jiblah University for Medical and Health Sciences will contribute to supplying the Ministry of Health and Population in Ibb Governorate in particular, and in the Republic of Yemen in general, with medical and health outcomes that support advancement, progress, continuous improvement, and meets the human development needs of graduates in medical and health sciences, which helps in serving the community, and linking the university with community institutions, to develop continuous and sustainable development by preparing specialized national medical human cadres and capabilities who are scientifically, practically and ethically qualified in all medical and health aspects. In addition, the change in the culture of the surrounding communities as the demand for enrollment in medical and health programs increased, which constituted a strength for establishing a medical university with specific specializations that are rarely found in the Republic of Yemen. This will be an additional support for alleviating the level of poverty at the national level through spreading and expanding the educational process, as science and poverty have an inverse relationship. Scientifically advanced societies enjoy higher levels of well-being. This is what made us look forward to participating in promoting positive and constructive contributions to national development and moving the wheel of economic and social development.
The idea of the Jiblah University for Medical and Health Sciences project emerged from the actual need to provide high-quality educational services, and based on the urgent need for distinguished quality services that parallel the increasing population growth in the country in general and in Ibb Governorate in particular. The importance of establishing a service project that provides services efficiently and distinguishably, through a group of local competencies qualified academically,
I feel proud and happy as I present this website to my fellow faculty members and their assistants, to my children, male and female university students, and to all those interested in university education, which contains diverse and useful information about the university and its academic and administrative formations.
It will be clear from this website that Jiblah University for Medical and Health Sciences, during the first year of its life, has taken an important and effective step in achieving its goals of (teaching – scientific research – community service – university service).
