Meeting of the Media Committee at Jiblah University for Medical and Health Sciences Discusses Enhancing Media Performance and Improving Coverage Quality.

As part of efforts to strengthen media performance and develop institutional work mechanisms, the Media Committee held a meeting on Monday, April 27, 2026, hosted by the Deanship of Development and Quality Assurance, with the attendance of several committee members.At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Dr. Mujeeb Ali Al-Saidi, Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, emphasized the importance of aligning media work with institutional quality standards. He stressed the need for media outputs to adhere to professional guidelines that reflect the university’s academic identity and present its activities in an organized and professional manner.

Mr. Basheer Al-Baadani, General Director of Public Relations and Media, also addressed the role of university media in representing the institution’s image. He highlighted the importance of unifying publishing channels through official platforms and strengthening coordination between the Media Committee and the media department to ensure content accuracy and quality. He also emphasized expanding outreach by reposting materials across various approved digital platforms. He further underscored the importance of harmonizing all efforts and embracing ideas that contribute to advance media work, as well as leverage students’ talents, capabilities, and skills by directing them within official frameworks. This would help unify efforts under a single vision that serves the university’s media message to its audience.

Furthermore, the meeting also discussed several key areas related to developing media work, most notably preparing phased media plans to keep pace with university activities, especially during admission and registration periods. Emphasis was placed on the importance of professional coverage of events and student activities in a way that reflects the university’s standards and academic outcomes. Additionally, the meeting highlighted the importance of enhancing the skills of Media Committee members through specialized training programs in media planning and report writing. It also stressed strengthening the university’s presence across various social media platforms to improve its public image and attract prospective students.

At the conclusion of the meeting, attendees commended the level of engagement shown by Media Committee members, emphasizing the importance of continuing to develop performance and working collaboratively as one team to advance media work within the university and achieve its institutional objectives.
