Faculty of Human Medicine has adhered to the system and vision of Jiblah University for Medical and Health Sciences, adhering to the specified number of study seats in the various systems. It has also subjected the three systems to admission tests so that competition is available to all applicants in complete transparency without discrimination between them.

Faculty of Medicine seeks to achieve its vision of adopting distinguished medical education at the national and regional levels, based on scientific, professional and humanitarian foundations.

It also seeks in its mission to prepare competent doctors who are distinguished scientifically and professionally and are able to solve health problems by using medical research to meet the requirements of society and in a way that achieves competitive leadership for them with their counterparts from other universities and to provide an educational environment for this based on modern methods of teaching and lifelong education and providing professional staff in preparing thesyllabi and curricula accordance with the standards approved by the Council for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Sana’a, which were derived from the standards of the World Federation for Medical Education.

The faculty also worked on preparing academic curricula according to workshops that were implemented and in which a large number of consultants and academics from various universities participated, including the University of Sana’a, Dhamar and Taiz, with the aim of benefiting from the experience of these universities in the educational field in general and specialized medical education in particular. A number of students were also involved. Specialists and consultants working in the medical field so that the workshop outcomes are compatible and in line with the needs and requirements of the local and regional market.

The establishment of the university with a university hospital follows it as the first medical university in the Republic to have a university hospital capable of adapting and keeping up with the theoretical aspects that the student encounters, thus becoming an integrated system in serving academic curricula, especially since Jiblah University Hospital is considered one of the first hospitals to be established in the Republic, where it was established. The year 1964 AD, and over the past half century, it has provided health and treatment services to those coming to it from various governorates of the republic and has a wide reputation for that. The hospital’s staff also worked to train a large number of health staff, as it was and still is a destination for students of faculties and medical institutes from inside and outside the governorate, all of this. It provides the Faculty of Human Medicine with an additional advantage in providing distinguished educational services, especially in clinical aspects, which represent an important aspect of specialized medical education.

There are also classrooms, modern equipment, and laboratories with all their equipment.

Finally, we wish our dear students success in their future. With the best regards,
