Faculty of Medical Laboratories was established for the purpose of qualifying distinguished scientific cadres in the field of medical laboratories capable of proper laboratory diagnosis of pathogenic causes and contributing to the development of scientific research directed at solving health problems.
The faculty’s journey began in its first year, in the academic year 2019/2020, according to a true vision, the vision of providing distinguished education that serves the community in the field of laboratory diagnostic medicine, professionally and humanely, by providing a distinguished scientific environment and an educational and ethical approach, while providing modern laboratories and equipment, medical training programs, and attracting faculty members. And their assistants are known for their experience and scientific competence. The facultyalso decided that its mission would be to prepare and qualify diagnostic medical cadres that keep pace with development and specialize in the field of medical laboratory sciences. The faculty focused its goals on developing and deepening the spirit of a single medical team and the ability to work under difficult health conditions. The faculty is also interested in developing basic and acquired skills to achieve quality in order to reach Academic accreditation of the faculty.
The faculty operates on a university semester and credit hour system, where the student studies eight university semesters each semester (16) weeks according to the requirements of the university, faculty, and specialized subjects. The facultygrants a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory sciences.
